Design Process


  • +5 years' experience in a print manufacturing environment (not agency)
  • Receiving client brief and understanding the objectives of project
  • Confirming standing corporate identity or creation of new brand CI
  • Sourcing of images using stock libraries and illustrator services
  • Use of supplied copy and/or write new/updated copy
  • Supply of multiple design options and mock-ups where applicable
  • Modify most suitable option and supply final proofs
  • Convert all editable text to paths/outline if applicable (print output)
  • Convert final layout to various formats (.png, .jpeg, .tiff, .eps, .ai, .svg, .gif, .pdf) suitable for the intended output medium - offset, digital, web, video
  • Ensure correct colour modes for each output application
  • Create corporate brand guide for new brands (master colour pallet with special colour codes specified, images, usage/placement rules, fonts, secondary artwork elements, taglines)
  • Packaging of finished artwork (document, links, fonts, print files)
  • Supply of production/web ready artwork
